Effective content marketing ultimately drives brand awareness, loyalty, and meaningful action over time.
Confetti Occasions is a greeting card business I founded, focused on celebrating life’s moments in ways that resonate with college-aged women. The brand combines playful, thoughtful design with relatable messaging, creating cards that feel personal and modern. Through this venture, I intentionally applied content marketing strategies—using storytelling, social media, and brand voice to build connection, grow awareness, and engage a niche audience beyond the product itself.
Throughout founding this card business and learning how to utilize content marketing effectively, I also collaborated with other small business owners to created a podcast discussing trends in the card and event planning business as well as launch a blog as part of my website. Through my blog posts, I learned the importance of SEO and SEM implementing strategies using keywords and long tails throughout my blog articles and in titles to drive traction to my blog from search engines such as Google, FireFox, and Bing.
