ETBD Snapchat Lens 
This project involved designing and launching a custom Snapchat Lens as part of my social media marketing coursework. Using Snap’s Lens Studio, I created an interactive seashell mermaid crown lens that aligned with a broader immersive pirate world experience developed in partnership with the ETBD Capstone Worldbuilding class. The goal was to create a playful, visually engaging AR experience that encouraged users to participate in and share the narrative of the world through social media.
The lens was published to the Miami University Marketing Department’s Snapchat account (@miamioh_mkt) as well as my personal account, where it has received over 6,000 uses to date. This project allowed me to combine creative design with platform-specific marketing strategy, demonstrating how augmented reality can drive engagement, brand awareness, and user interaction. Through this experience, I gained hands-on practice with AR content creation, cross-class collaboration, and measuring real-world social media performance through user engagement metrics.

Here is what the mermaid crown looks like during use. Not only does it include the ETBD logo on the right, but it can also recognize human faces and anchors the crown to the head as the user moves.
